Constitutional Aspects of the Criminal Procedure
(Department of Constitutional Law and Political Science)
It is becoming increasingly apparent that during almost every phase of criminal proceedings the constitutionally guaranteed rights of those persons involved are being infringed upon. Simultaneously, the ever evolving case-law of the Czech Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights indicates that many constitutional aspects of criminal proceedings remain insufficiently reflected in practice. Therefore, we encourage you to participate in this conference with any contributions focusing on specific constitutional aspects of criminal procedure.
