The 8th Annual International Conference Days of Law 2014 - Basic Information

Conference dates:
19th to 20th November 2014
The deadline for registration and abstract submission:
2nd November 2014

Registration is possible only in electronic form via registration system; the same applies to the completion and abstracts submission.

Deadline for contribution submissions:
7th December 2014

This requirement applies in case if the output of section is reviewed proceedings in the form of e-book. For submission of paper for this output, please use the

If the output section is monograph, deadline and paper format are determined by the organizers of the respective section.

Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, Veveří 70, Brno

Publications and output from the conference:

  • overview of abstracts and keywords, which will be published before the conference in electronic form on the conference website;
  • format of the final output varies according to the sections; possible formats:
    • peer-reviewed post-conference proceedings with ISBN in the form of e-book (PDF), accessible through Scientific Portal of Faculty of Law, Masaryk University (direct link https://www.law.muni.cz/content/cs/proceedings/);
    • monograph; for details, please see info from organizers of the respective section

Conference fee

  • 63 EUR incl. VAT for registrations untill 22nd October 2014
  • 80 EUR incl. VAT for registrations from 23rd October to 2nd November 2014;
  • 25 EUR incl. VAT for master’s and bachelor‘s degree program students without contributions.

After registration to the conference, an invoice in electronic form will be sent to your email; you will receive the original of the invoice at registration. We would like to ask you to pay the conference fee in accordance with the information provided for you in the invoice (it is not possible to pay the conference fee in cash on the day of the conference). In case your contribution is not published (e.g. due to failure to comply with deadlines or prescribed format, etc.) or non-participation at the conference, the conference fee is not refundable.

Information for conference participants from countries with visa duty

If you need an invitation letter for your visa application from the Faculty of Law, please provide the conference organizers via email dnyprava@law.muni.cz with following information:

  • Name and surname
  • Residence
  • Sending institution
  • Passport number
  • Date of issuing and expiration date of your passport

The timely provision of complete information will speed up issuing of the invitation letter.
